Spokane – Our Home Away from Home August 16, 2006

I think we can all agree that for the first 10 years of our lives, we believed we lived in Spokane.

I thought my family bought its first minivan at Wendle Ford and drove down East Sprague on the way to North Town Mall. Then I thought we could go eat at TGI Friday?s on North Division! And at the end of our long, hectic day running the Bloomsday Race, we?d retire to the couch to watch Randy Shaw bring us the KREM 2 evening news. Remember Silverwood!!!???

dont even get me started with memories of spokane.
What about the days of Riverfront park and when George Bush the first was running for president? Thats what I remember. Then there is the obvious statement of spokane and where my friend currently resides with her dentist.

You mean Spokane’s not really a strange suburb in the north end? How else would you explain the prevalence of meth problems?

Don’t forget the Fairchild Airbase. THE FAIRCHILD AIRBASE!!

    Go Zags!
